This 95-bed program provides a secure 24-hour supervised residence for male detainees who are awaiting trial or are serving brief sentences for minor, non-violent charges. 

All residents are restricted to the Supervised Residential Center (SRC) for the duration of their time in the program.  Case management services are provided in addition to educational training, counseling, life skills training and referral services. 

For 6 years, the SRC has achieved 100% compliance with all standards established and monitored by the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards.  It operates under contract with the State of Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services and was established 20 years ago.  The SRC moved to its present location in February 1988.
