The Supervised Residential Center (SRC)

For more than 20 years, the Supervised Residential Program Center has partnered with State of Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to house male detainees awaiting trial or serving brief sentences for minor, non-violent charges. Recently, the SRC expanded its services to receive inmates with longer, short-term sentences of four to six months. Now, this 95-bed program provides more than just a secure 24-hour supervised residence; it offers individuals a chance to turn their lives around.

Providing case management services, educational training, counseling, life skills classes and referral services in a safe, supportive environment, the SRC is committed to helping hundreds of men each year reclaim their independence and rebuild their lives. One unique component of the program is the Reintegration Reconciliation Family Program, where intensive group and individual family counseling is conducted to strengthen relationships between inmates and family members.

The Supervised Residential Program Center has proudly maintained 100% compliance with the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards, the local accreditation process, for the past seven years.
