The RPC Homeless Services Program provides 44-beds for single men and women who are homeless.  In addition to addressing shelter needs, staff provides case management services, education, training, mental health and substance abuse services and coordination with other community agencies to address individual needs.

The shelter is co-located with the substance abuse treatment program at the Residential Program Center enabling residents in need to participate in substance abuse education and treatment on-site.

This program operates under contract with Arlington County.   Volunteers of America Chesapeake assumed responsibility for operating the shelter in March 1992 and moved to its present location on June 6, 1994.
