This program is a HUD funded program that provides permanent housing, rental assistance and psychiatric rehabilitative services homeless persons with disabilities in Prince George's County.  

Volunteers of America Chesapeake began managing the Shelter Plus Care Program in July 2000 and one year later integrated the Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program into its services.  Shelter Plus Care serves single adults and families in 23 residential sites.
