Baker House

Located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Volunteers of America Chesapeake's Baker House is a cozy home for 12 adults with intellectual disabilities who have formed a tight-knit, loving family. In this supportive housing program, residents partner with Volunteers of America Chesapeake staff members to develop individual service plans and participate in life skills training and human growth and development classes geared toward individual skill levels and development potential. Some residents attend day programs and many are employed.
