Through Volunteers of America Chesapeake's Core Service Agency, consumers will have direct access to qualified professionals who will deliver diagnostic assessment, counseling, community support and medication/somatic treatment services in a caring and compassionate manner.

This program was certified in November 2005 through the District of Columbia's Department of Mental Health as a Core Service Agency. 

The program will provide mental health rehabilitation services and will be funded through Medicaid and fee for service.
